Beginners $WHIVE CPU mining guide with a Laptop or PC and Whive wallet software

This is a basic mining guide with your laptop or personal computer. If you are looking to build your node from scratch follow this guide here.
Download the latest wallet binary for your OS using this link below:

FOR WINDOWS OS
- Unzip file to: C:\whive
- Run Wallet For windows double click the shortcut c:\whive\whive-qt.bat
- After the blockchain has fully synced you can Generate a Whive Wallet Address to use by clicking the Receive Tab and Request Payment thereafter.
- Start mining by running the file c:\whive\whive_pool.bat
- If the mine.bat file disappears it probably means the minerd.exe file in the c:\whive\miner folder has been quarantined by your antivirus software
- Restore the file from quarantine and exclude from being flagged again
- Should you not be able to mine check that your internet/wi-fi connection is open(public) and your whive configurations are in order

FOR LINUX OS
Run following command in home directory : tar xvf whive.tar.gz
- Linux: $HOMEDIR/
- Run Wallet For linux execute run.sh by typing ./run.sh
- After the blockchain has fully synced you can Generate a Whive Wallet Address to use by clicking the Receive Tab and Request Payment thereafter.
- After the blockchain has fully synced you can start mining by running the file by typing ./whive_pool.sh
FOR MAC OS
untar file to $HOME
cd $HOME/whive
Run Wallet For linux execute run.sh by typing ./run.sh
After the blockchain has fully synced you can Generate a Whive Wallet Address to use by clicking the Receive Tab and Request Payment thereafter.
Run the following commands in your mac terminal under your home directory:
$ git clone https://github.com/whiveio/MacOs-cpuminer-mc-yespower $ brew install curl$ brew install autoconf$ brew install automake$ cd MacOs-cpuminer-mc-yespower $ ./autogen.sh$ ./nomacro.pl$ ./configure CFLAGS="-O3 -march=native -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer" $ make
Run
yespower solo mining example: ( -u for username -p password, change them to your own)
./minerd -a yespower -o http://127.0.0.1:1867 -u whive -p pass --coinbase-addr= <YOUR WHIVE ADDRESS>
